HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE

Updated: Aug 11, 2021

WITHOUT MILK, SOY, SUGAR, HONEY AND SWEETENERS;)

AUTHOR'S RECIPE

This chocolate contains ingredients with only a low glycemic index, so it can be used for low carbohydrate diets, e.g. for people with diabetes, Candida, cancer or parasitic disease. It is also good for those who are trying to lose weight ;)

Besides being so simple and quick to make!

The recipe:

INGREDIENTS

- 3 tablespoons of coconut oil

- 2 tablespoons of cashew butter without sugar or salt added

- 2 tablespoons of carob powder (carob is a great substitute for cocoa and it has a sweet taste;)

- 1 tablespoon of inulin (a natural prebiotic, nourishes our intestinal flora, does not raise glucose levels, has a sweet taste)

- a handful of chopped walnuts or other nuts

Optional - for a "milky" taste:

- 1 tablespoon of ghee butter (most people with dairy intolerance tolerate ghee butter well)

- 2 tablespoons of pure coconut milk powder (with no added maltodextrin or casein)

PROCEDURE

Put all ingredients, except chopped nuts, in a small saucepan and dissolve them on low heat, do not boil. Add chopped nuts, then pour onto a small loaf pan lined with baking paper (using loaf pan we will get the "chocolate bar" effect ).

Cool to room temperature and then put in the freezer for half an hour or in the fridge for an hour.

Chocolate should be stored in the fridge as it dissolves quickly at room temperature.

BON APPETIT ;)
